EDUCATION

Every child on Guam should have the same educational opportunities as every other child in the Nation, whether they are rich or poor.

GPSS
Guam has been underfunding our public school system by more than half for over a decade and this is the first thing that we need to improve. In Fiscal year 2006 Guam spent only $4848 per student whereas the District of Columbia (another territory that has a similar student demographic as Guam) spent $12,948. Until we start to properly invest in our children’s future, we will never achieve the results that our kids deserve.

UOG
Every resident of Guam should have access to a free education at UOG. There should be no restrictions on age, major or course of study. This is how you build a diverse and vibrant society as well as a strong university.

GCC
Every resident of Guam should be able to take classes at GCC at no cost. This allows us to build a strong and diverse workforce as well as growing our learning institution.
